Vliervelden wins the Almere Architecture Prize 2022
Last Saturday the presentation of the APA2022 took place in De Kunstlinie in Almere. Vliervelden received the first prize from the professional jury. Alderman Hilde van Garderen handed out the check and the (exchange) trophies.
Elderfields
Vliervelden is a gatehouse with 21 apartments on the new yard of Tom and Tineke Saat, the urban farmers, in Almere Oosterwold.
The general areas and the first three homes of Vliervelden in Almere were completed on Wednesday 11 November. The first residents received the key to their beautiful and sustainable home in the yard of a city farm.
The houses are built in a future-oriented way and equipped with sustainable installations such as a heat pump and PV panels. In addition, sustainable woods are used.

APA
The APA is organized by the Kunstlinie. The prize is awarded to the most special projects that have been realized in Almere in the past two years. The prize is awarded every two years.d
