Symposium TNW Delft
In February 2016 the doors of the new building of the Faculty of Applied Sciences (TNW) opened in Delft. The design and construction process is as special as the building itself. Combining very high and specific user requirements for research with flexibility for the future was a new challenge for clients and contractors. For example, excellent performing laboratories with less vibration have been realized with an exceptional foundation on strut poles. TU Delft shares its acquired knowledge as a principal for education and research property in this practical case in the symposium Building for Science.
The symposium took place on Tuesday 9 May from 13:00 to 18:00 at TU Delft Campus. Pieters Bouwtechniek was present, as the consulting engineer of the design team.
