Redevelopment Rijn IJssel

The former headquarters of Akzo Nobel in Arnhem is being repurposed. DP6 is involved as an architect and Pieters as a structural engineer.

The repurposing concerns De Witte Villa and Toren C2 and is intended as accommodation for the Creative Industry cluster, the Central Staff Services and the Executive Board of Rijn IJssel. Rijn IJssel is an educational institution that provides MBO education in the Arnhem and Wageningen region.

The future professional practice of the students is central to the repurposing. In addition, the aim is to create a shared learning and working environment for students and employees of Rijn IJssel. The building offers a wide variety of spaces and various forms of furnishing.
