Renovation Duinroosstraat, Den Helder

There are five portico buildings on Duinroosstraat in Den Helder in the middle of a green environment, where park courtyards and parking courtyards alternate. The portico buildings have been extensively renovated. The work took place while the residents were still living there, to keep disruption to a minimum.

The facades and uniformity of the blocks were no longer contemporary. That is why the buildings have been given a total makeover, with the balconies on the park court side being made wider and deeper.

The balconies are made by Hi-Con in UHSB, and have frosted glass balustrades. The buildings are now ready for the future.
