In order to continue to comply with this, Royal A-ware has commissioned a mozzarella cheese factory to be built in Heerenveen. The mozzarella will be sold on international markets.

It is expected that the factory will be ready in 2020. 

This is the first mozzarella cheese factory on this scale with a starting capacity of 45,000 tons, in the Netherlands.
