Pieters structural engineer of huge project

In September they will start the build of the new AFAS headquarters in Leusden. Everything the software giant AFAS builds is big. Starting with the total area of the site: 45,000 square meters. At the headquarters there will be 711 workspaces, 15 meeting rooms and 9 executive rooms, spread over five floors.

The employees can park their car in one of the 801 places in the double layered car park. This garage will have two entrances: one for the employees and one for the visitors. Those visitors will come because AFAS builds more than just a headquarters. The most interesting building will be the theater with 824 seats.

On September 1st, they will prepare the ground for construction. Just a month later, the piles are stored and the foundation poured. In February 2018, the construction of the theater will begin. In May 2020, specialists start designing the building, so the ribbon for the opening will be cut by Newyear 2020 to 2021.
