Open day STC 2.0

On Friday, March 16, DP6 architecture studio, Pieters Bouwtechniek and Nelissen Ingenieursbureau invited clients to visit the Shipping and Transport College 2.0 at an open day. The day started with presentations by, among others, Paul Rijpstra from Pieters Bouwtechniek and a guided tour. The afternoon ended with a networking drink.

At the end of last year, the new building for the MBO van het Scheepvaart en Transportcollege was put into use. A beautiful building that manifests itself prominently at the Waalhaven, the logistic center of Rotterdam, with an overhang of 7 meters.

The starting point of the design is that the building connects with the practice of the business. Students come into contact with the future professional practice throughout the building.
