Development Hettenheuvelweg 12, 14 and 16

Certitudo Capital and the Municipality of Amsterdam recently signed an agreement for the development at Hettenheuvelweg 12, 14 and 16 in the lively Amsterdam district of Amstel III in Amsterdam-Zuidoost. Pieters Bouwtechniek  is the structural engineer of the project.

560 homes are being developed on Hettenheuvelweg 12, 14 and 16 – a significant part of the 1,600 homes that will be built here in total at the future Hondsrug Park – as well as 1,000 m² facilities and a public underground parking facility.

&Amsterdam
This mixed-use area development bears the name &Amsterdam. &Amsterdam is one of the first to be developed according to the BENG standard (nearly energy neutral buildings). With &Amsterdam, the ambition of the Municipality of Amsterdam is underlined to expand the residential area in Amsterdam-Zuidoost, and to create a green and sustainable city at various levels.

Program
The new development has a mixed program with different types of independent residential units, ranging from studios and duplexes to two, three and four-room apartments with floor areas from 30 m² to 120 m². All homes have an outdoor space, either independently or collectively. The 1,000 m² facilities plinth has an area-supporting function and will soon be finalized.

Construction will start in December 2021, with completion scheduled for Q4 2024.
