Official opening of 'Weg & Waterhuis' the Langebalk

On 14 December is the official opening of Weg & Waterhuis the Langebalk. The support center with the control center in Heerhugowaard is ready to operate the first bridge remotely. The first bridge that is operated remotely from the news control center is the Two Swans in Schagen. Deputy Elisabeth Post will officially open the support center and control center on 14 December after the first bridge has been connected.

With this central control unit, the province ensures a better flow of shipping and traffic on the road. Both in the construction and the final function of Weg & Waterhuis the Langebalk, safety and sustainability are important starting points. This support center is the first energy neutral provincial building.
