The Mayor, Amstelveen in the picture

The Mayor in Amstelveen is a redevelopment project in the vacant part of the De Bovenlanden office building (40,000 m2 GFA) that was used by KPMG until 2009. The building will be transformed into housing, consisting of 319 homes in a park-like environment. Apartments, penthouses and park villas are being realized in the building, at a beautiful location near the Stadshart shopping center in Amstelveen.

Pieters Bouwtechniek is involved in this project as the main structural engineer on behalf of the client. Pieters was also involved in the establishment of the building. Due to the presence of this specific knowledge, Pieters formulated a number of important constructive preconditions in the design phase to optimally steer the design process for all disciplines.
