Child center Stedum is progressing according to plan

The Child Center in Stedum will house 2 merged primary schools (Christian primary school De Crangeborg & public primary school De Bongerd) and the daycare Kids2b under one roof.

In addition to being earthquake-resistant, the new future-proof building will also become gasless and energy-neutral. The plan area is on the edge of Stedum. The Child Center will be a switching point between the village and the countryside.

Despite the stability required for earthquakes, we have succeeded in making the building optimally flexible in terms of layout, which gives the building the capacity to adapt to demographic developments in the region. Sustainability is also being considered: the building will be almost energy-neutral. This means that much attention is paid to the insulation of the building and the installations.
