New property of St. Elisabeth is opened on a festive basis
On Friday, June 2nd, the new property of St. Elisabeth in Doesburg, care center of Attent Care and Treatment, is opened on a festive basis.
Berend van der Ploeg, director, welcomed everyone and gave the floor to Mayor Loes van der Meijs. The Mayor held a speech in which she first congratulated the inhabitants with the new St. Elisabeth. A beautiful care location with a rich history for the city of Doesburg. The official opening act was conducted by the King's Commissioner, Clemens Cornielje, together with Ms Elisabeth Rhemref, a resident of St. Elisabeth. They revealed a bench with inscription in the newly constructed garden of St. Elisabeth.
The winning art design was also announced by Patries Giesberts, area manager in Attent. The winning painting 'Getting Older is a Life Art' was created by Gea Corbeek. She received a check of € 2000, -.
Pieters Bouwtechniek is proud to be the stuctural engineer of this beautiful care location. In St. Elisabeth, clients are living with psychiatric care questions. The care and treatment is aimed at providing a safe and protected living environment. There is a cozy living room on each floor for shared use with around seven apartments.
