Pieters starts working for NL Doet

Pieters Bouwtechniek has been around for 50 years, and we are celebrating! In the context of the anniversary, Pieters organizes various activities, including a day of work for NL Doet. This took place last week.

NL Doet is an annual volunteer day in the Netherlands. The aim is to encourage volunteer work. The day is organized nationally, with local activities in many places.

The Pieters branches have carried out various activities. More than 40 colleagues spent a day working outside. Some have painted, others have started using the high-pressure sprayer, and still others have swept, pruned, raked, hoeed and weeded.

For example, the employees of Pieters Amsterdam and Pieters Bouwkunde have jointly redecorated the clubhouse of HC Diemen. HC Diemen is a young club with currently around 300 active members, from young to old.

The Delft branch started working outside at Zorgboerderij Buitenueel in Pijnacker. This farm provides a safe and beautifully tidy place for visitors with dementia.

Pieters Utrecht has cleaned and renovated the terraces and gardens at Zorgcentrum Rosendael. This care center specializes in complex treatment, reactivation, nursing and care.

Pieters Haarlem has worked at the IJwegschool in Hoofddorp. Created a lovely lounge area for the children, an insect hotel and the necessary weeding. In addition, maintenance has been carried out in and around the schoolyard to ensure that the children can play freely and safely again

The employees of the Zwolle branch have prepared, pruned and maintained the vegetable garden on the Dog Play Meadow at Wijkboerderij de Eemhoeve for spring.

In this way, Pieters contributes to a better society. And, as can be seen from the photos, the colleagues had a lot of fun together.
