King opens new wing of LiS
Today, King Willem-Alexander opened a new wing of Leiden instrumentmakers School (LiS).
The school trains students into professionals who create innovative precision instruments for science and industry.
The expansion includes the ground floor, a new workshop and a canteen. The first and second floors house classrooms and a teacher's room. Between the existing school and the main building of the expansion, the new entrance and staircase was completed in a transparent volume.
