Construction Post Rotterdam can start

The construction of POST Rotterdam can begin. The contract with the contractor has been signed. The contractor is a joint venture of Besix and Rizzani de Eccher.

POST Rotterdam, the former main post office of Rotterdam, is a national monument and one of the few remaining historic buildings in Rotterdam. It is located on the Coolsingel next to the historic town hall.

Program
In 2016, the property was acquired by Omnam Investment Group.. The monument will house a hotel and a new apartment tower will be built in the former courtyard. This apartment tower will be 150 meters high and will be placed on a 25 meter high table construction. The facades of the courtyard remain visible in this way  and as a result, a second beautiful hall is created next to the fantastic existing central hall in the monument.
