Completion of the first 3 homes Vliervelden, Almere
Together with Vink Bouw, Pieters Bouwtechniek, Leukehuizen.nll and the de Stadsboeren van Almere, KettingHulsis developing a gatehouse with 21 apartments on the new yard of Tom and Tineke Saat, the city farmers, in Almere Oosterwold.
The general areas and the first three homes of Vliervelden in Almere were completed on Wednesday 11 November. The first residents received the key to their beautiful and sustainable home in the yard of a city farm.
The houses are built in a future-oriented way and equipped with sustainable installations such as a heat pump and PV panels. In addition, sustainable woods are used.
In addition to the gatehouse, the yard will also have 7 vacant lots and a shop for the sale of the land's products. The ambition is that the apartments are energy neutral, accessible by a lift and have a good outdoor space with a balcony or garden. The future residents are part of life in the yard. Between the tractors, cows and hay bales you live together around the apple orchard, surrounded by the farmland of the city farmer on which they work.
The new yard of the Stadsboeren is located along the Goudplevierweg in Oosterwold Almere. An idyllic spot in a green, quiet area that is easily accessible by car, about fifteen minutes from Almere Stad. Adjacent to the location is a wide strip of the Eem Valley, which Staatsbosbeheer will set up with a food forest, a play wilderness and elder fields in which the cows of the City Farm can graze.
