Pieters present during the Day of Construction

This year, Pieters again actively contributed to the Day of Construction on 15 June 2019. Construction companies and infrastructure open up projects throughout the Netherlands to the public, including the office at Fellenoord in Eindhoven and AFAS Experience Center in Leusden. Pieters employees were present at these two projects to tell visitors about the construction of the buildings.

Fellenoord
Fellenoord is a unique project in Eindhoven and is being realized by Bouwbedrijf Jongen. During the day of construction on Saturday 15 June, around 200 enthusiastic visitors visited the Fellenoord construction site. Various building partners and advisors were present to inform visitors and share project facts about the sustainable and innovative building.

AFAS
The new AFAS Experience Center will be realized in Leusden. The name says it all; experience is central to the design of this state-of-the-art complex. When you enter Leusden, the three large green-yellow cranes are not to be missed. It is a large construction site with a complex that consists of a main building, intermediate buildings, a restaurant, a theater and an underground parking garage. All these buildings are connected to each other. Dura Vermeer Infra Hengelo is laying a park-like garden around it, including a large water feature and a hill where people can sit on. The underground parking garage has two levels and can accommodate 760 cars.
