Unveiling of the Christian Lyceum Veenendaal building board
The building board was unveiled at the Christelijk Lyceum Veenendaal on Thursday afternoon, 17 October at 12:30 PM. Alderman Martijn Beek was responsible for the unveiling on behalf of the municipality of Veenendaal. It was a good moment to reflect on the fact that construction has now started 'really'.
It is a school of approximately 6,420 m². Important starting points for the new construction are sustainability and reuse. Part of the concrete structure is reused in the new building, this applies to part of the theory and practice house.
At the location where the current building was built more than fifty years ago, there will now be a modern, future-oriented and (almost) energy-neutral building. The character of the school remains tangible in the new building.
